Ansteorra Guild of European Dancers (AGED) was formed in the summer of A.S. XXXIV (1999 CE) and the guild charter was signed by Their Royal Magisties Daffydd and Octavia at Ansteorra’s 20th year celebration in July. The Guild ratified the bylaws in September, A.S. XXXIV.

As stated in the Charter, the primary purpose of the Guild is to promote the learning, teaching, and performance of medieval, renaissance, and original and commonly performed SCA dances.
