LOCAL PRACTICES

Many weekly and monthly dance guild meetings are held for any of the populace to attend. Here you can find information on those, including directions and contact information.

Please check the local group’s calendar (or contact the guild head) to make sure the practice is happening. Dates are variable so it is important you confirm before that a guild practice hasn’t been canceled due to room availability, a holiday, an event, or another special circumstance. You may also ask the guild head questions. Consider asking what you should wear. Ask about structure and if you could prepare. Consider asking how advanced or formal is the class.

Some guilds are also listed as ‘On Hiatus.’ This just means that at one point that group had an actively meeting guild but currently does not have regular meetings scheduled. This could be that the guild head was too busy to hold class, the guild lost its meeting place, or attendance was not high enough to encourage regular meeting times. If you are interested in these groups, please contact the name listed and ask how you can get involved and making the guild active again.
